Bonsai Workshop 6/26/21 9am

Come to this class to learn how to create and grow bonsai in Iowa. The class is taught by a member of the Iowa Bonsai Association. Discussion will include what varieties make great bonsai, different growing techniques to produce different sizes and styles of bonsai, what to look for when choosing a starter plant, and how to care for your bonsai after it has been shaped. Students will choose a starter plant and learn, hands on, bonsai shaping, pruning and wiring techniques.

Masks are optional for people who are fully vaccinated. All classes will be taught in our open air greenhouse or outdoors so please dress accordingly.
