About This Class:

Join us for this online class whre we’ll teach you Kokedama means “moss ball” in Japanese. It is a style of bonsai gardening that uses soil and moss to encase a plants roots.  It is then displayed by suspending the sphere shape using a decorative chain or string or by placing it on clay dish.  We like to think of kokedama as “living pots.” Kokedama design is a great way to incorporate your favorite succulents indoors, outdoors, or for a show-stopping element at a party. Derek will show you step-by-step how to bring this whimsical style to life in this class. Once you learn the technique, you’ll get to create two small kokedama balls or your own or one large to take home.

Your class kit can be ordered online here.
