Stevia or “candyleaf” is mostly known for being a natural sweetener, use these leaves in fresh beverages like tea or lemonade. To make a refreshing hot or iced tea, simply boil water and steep fresh stevia and mint leaves to create a relaxing semi-sweet tea. Stevia leaf also makes a great edible garnish to dessert dishes like crème brulee, and ice cream. This herb will thrive in full sun and will need to be watered regularly but do not let soil become soggy. Use a plant food with this herb to promote healthy, colorful leaf production.
