A profusion of deep violet blooms on compact spikes that will brighten sunny borders and xeric landscapes throughout summer. Thrives in nutrient-poor soil and sunny, dry conditions. A tight, low, mounding, herbaceous perennial perfect for rock gardens.
Thrives in average to lean, well-drained soil. Water deeply, regularly during first growing season to establish an extensive root system. Once established, reduce frequency; tolerates moderate drought. Remove spent flowers to encourage reblooming. Cut back to the ground at the end of the growing season.
