Temple Of Bloom® Seven-Son Flower is primarily grown for its highly ornamental fruit. It features abundant showy rose capsules from early to late fall. It has panicles of fragrant white flowers with red bracts at the ends of the branches from mid to late summer, which are interesting on close inspection. It has forest green foliage which emerges lime green in spring. The twisted pointy leaves do not develop any appreciable fall color. The peeling tan bark is extremely showy and adds significant winter interest.

Temple Of Bloom® Seven-Son Flower is an open multi-stemmed deciduous shrub with an upright spreading habit of growth. Its average texture blends into the landscape, but can be balanced by one or two finer or coarser trees or shrubs for an effective composition.

This is a relatively low maintenance shrub, and is best pruned in late winter once the threat of extreme cold has passed. It is a good choice for attracting butterflies and hummingbirds to your yard.
