Lodgepole Pine Pom-Pom topiary has an irregular pyramidal growth habit with rich green evergreen foliage. The needles remain green throughout the winter. The shaggy brick red bark adds character to the bare branches. It is a relatively low maintenance tree, though it will need pruning to keep its pom-pom shape. When pruning in necessary, it is recommended to only trim back the new growth of the current season, other than to remove any dieback.
