Partridge Pea features showy yellow pea-like flowers with crimson eyes along the stems from early to late summer. Its attractive tiny oval compound leaves remain green in color with hints of powder blue throughout the season.

It is a dense herbaceous annual with an upright spreading habit of growth, though it readily reseeds itself to ensure future seasons of growth. Its relatively fine texture sets it apart from other garden plants with less refined foliage. This plant will require occasional maintenance and upkeep, and is best cleaned up in early spring before it resumes active growth for the season. It is a good choice for attracting birds, bees and butterflies to your yard.
