Create your own design or style of the Snowbird felted onto a Christmas stocking. We’ll begin by covering the basics of 2D needle felting and exploring the properties of three different types of wool included in the class: Alpaca, Sheep’s wool, and Llama fiber. (All wool used is sourced from our own IA-raised animals!)

You don’t need to bring anything with you—everything you need, including the Christmas stocking, will be provided. The class fee includes a “Starter Kit” with all the materials required to craft your design, plus extra wool to take home for future projects.
No special skills are necessary; the focus is on expressing your own creativity through this fun and innovative art form. Each participant will develop their unique style, making this an enjoyable and enriching experience for everyone.
This class is for any age group. We only ask that children be ages 8+ (with adult supervision only) as sharp felting needles are used.
Bring a friend for twice the fun! Our Garden Center has soft beverages, beer, seltzers and wine available for purchase.
