Magnolia Felix Jury #7

Felix Jury Magnolia is a recipient of the prestigious Award of Garden Merit by the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) Wisley. Its smaller stature with an upright, pyramidal form and attractive light green foliage is perfect for a small garden specimen tree. As many as 100 blooms on a single mature tree appear each year in early spring. The light green foliage makes an attractive backdrop for the huge, up to 12-inch, hot pink flowers that carry a citrusy-floral scent.

Felix Jury Magnolia is a deciduous tree with a distinctive and refined pyramidal form. Its relatively coarse texture can be used to stand it apart from other landscape plants with finer foliage. This is a relatively low maintenance tree, and is best pruned in late winter once the threat of extreme cold has passed.
