Scent And Sensibility™ Pink Lilac is blanketed in stunning panicles of fragrant pink flowers at the ends of the branches from early spring to mid fall, which emerge from distinctive rose flower buds. The flowers are excellent for cutting. It has dark green foliage throughout the season. The small pointy leaves do not develop any appreciable fall color.
Scent And Sensibility™ Pink Lilac is a dense multi-stemmed deciduous shrub with a shapely oval form. Its relatively fine texture sets it apart from other landscape plants with less refined foliage.
This is a relatively low maintenance shrub, and should only be pruned after flowering to avoid removing any of the current season’s flowers.
