This month we are learning about Robins. We’ll follow the migration, mating and nesting habits of a pair of robins as they raise their young. Then we’ll create our own DIY birdseed treats that you can take home and hang for the birds in your yard to enjoy.
Best for ages 3-8. Children should be accompanied by an adult throughout story time and the activity following.
July’s Book – The Robins in Your Backyard by Nancy Carol Willis
July’s Activity – DIY Birdseed Treat Hanger
Story Time will be held outside in the garden, either in the grass or on the patio. Please feel free to bring a blanket to sit on.
In the case of poor weather, Story Time will move indoors to the greenhouse.
This event is free, however we do ask that you register ahead of time so we can prepare enough materials.
Join us for Story Time in the Garden the third Friday of every month at 10am.
