Iron Butterfly Foamflower has masses of beautiful spikes of lightly-scented white star-shaped flowers rising above the foliage from mid spring to mid summer, which are most effective when planted in groupings. The flowers are excellent for cutting. Its attractive deeply cut lobed leaves remain forest green in color with prominent dark brown stripes throughout the year. The fruit is not ornamentally significant.
