Drops Of Gold Japanese Holly is primarily valued in the garden for its ornamental upright and spreading habit of growth. It has attractive gold evergreen foliage which emerges yellow in spring. The small glossy oval leaves are highly ornamental and remain gold throughout the winter.

Drops Of Gold Japanese Holly is a dense multi-stemmed evergreen shrub with an upright spreading habit of growth. Its relatively fine texture sets it apart from other landscape plants with less refined foliage.

This is a relatively low maintenance shrub, and is best pruned in late winter once the threat of extreme cold has passed. It is a good choice for attracting birds and bees to your yard.
