Sage is commonly used to help manage stomach pain, flatulence, bloating, appetite and heartburn. Many people also burn dried sage leaves to remove bacteria from the air, improve intuition, purify objects or even people, repels insects and to improve stress and anxiety. Sage’s most common culinary uses are sauces, butters, meat marinades, pastries and breads. Sage will thrive in full sun and will need watered 2-3 times the first week it is planted, after that decrease watering to once every week or 2 weeks, this plant can be easily overwatered!
