Kentucky colonel mint can be used in any recipe that calls for spearmint. The oil from these leaves is commonly used to make medicines that help with indigestion, nausea, spasms and gas! Spearmint goes great in hot or iced teas, as well as a refreshing summer drink. This herb will thrive in part shade, with moist soil that has a good draining system. This mint leaves also pair well with mojitos and other summer drinks, fresh fruit salads, dressings and vegetables such as carrots, potatoes and peas!
