Crimson Cloud English Hawthorn is covered in stunning clusters of crimson flowers with white centers held atop the branches in mid spring. It has forest green foliage throughout the season. The glossy lobed leaves do not develop any appreciable fall color. The fruits are showy red pomes displayed from early fall to late winter.
It is a deciduous tree with a more or less rounded form. Its average texture blends into the landscape, but can be balanced by one or two finer or coarser trees or shrubs for an effective composition. This is a relatively low maintenance tree, and is best pruned in late winter once the threat of extreme cold has passed.
