Jurassic T-Rex Wood Fern is primarily valued in the garden for its strikingly vertical habit of growth. Its attractive, upright, ladder-shaped fronds vary from light to dark green for a bold and highly textural statement in a shaded garden.
Especially handsome when grouped to frame a garden element or niche in architecture, use to add height and dimension to a low border or brighten a woodland understory. This is a relatively low maintenance plant, and should be cut back in late fall in preparation for winter.
