Pearl Glam Beautyberry is primarily grown for its highly ornamental fruit. It features an abundance of magnificent violet berries from early to late fall. It has white trumpet-shaped flowers along the branches from mid to late summer, which are interesting on close inspection. It has deep purple deciduous foliage. The fuzzy pointy leaves do not develop any appreciable fall color.

It is a multi-stemmed deciduous shrub with a shapely form and gracefully arching branches. Its average texture blends into the landscape, but can be balanced by one or two finer or coarser trees or shrubs for an effective composition. This shrub will require occasional maintenance and upkeep, and is best pruned in late winter once the threat of extreme cold has passed.
