Hardy, heat, and humidity tolerant, with an upright, compact habit, perfect for a sunny, easy-care landscape. An herbaceous perennial.
Thrives in average to humus-rich, well-drained soils. Best foliage color in full sun. Prefers dry to moderate moisture; avoid wet, poorly-drained sites. For a neat appearance, remove old foliage before new leaves emerge. Divide clumps every 2 to 3 years in early spring.
