Gravenstein Apple is a medium-sized tree that is typically grown for its edible qualities. It produces chartreuse round apples (which are botanically known as ‘pomes’) with a red blush and buttery yellow flesh which are usually ready for picking from mid to late summer. The apples have a tart taste and a firm texture.
